During my summer holiday 2021 in Italy I picked 4 stones out of the the very beautiful Lago di Suviana.
I took them all the way home and scanned them, to have them as 3D assets.
After some time to get the workflow right, I managed to get out high-quality 8K textures with all the details of the stones on a quite handy uv-mapped geometry. That allowed me to animate and simulate those fellas with still very good feedback from the software. Using 3D scans in my daily work, I am happy to be able to create my own assets now :)
